Written by on

Howdy gamers! First of all, we hope everyone enjoyed the gaming promotion we ran last month as we hit record-breaking orders for FIFA 17, Battlefield 1 and Gear of War. If you missed out, be sure to keep eyes and ears out for future Elite promotion as we run these monthly and it’s a great chance to bargain extra savings!

Moving on, We’ve had some exciting news drop this month including a preview of Nintendo’s upcoming new product – Nintendo Switch. Could we finally see console and handheld gaming become one? I’m not quite sure if this will replace the Xbox one or PS4 but something tells me this may just put the DS line to it’s grave… Watch the announcement trailer below and let me know your thoughts.

Battlefield 1 (PS4, Xbox One and PC)

Last week we were finally met with the release of Battlefield 1. Many have been anticipating this latest installment which encaptures World War 1 in it’s cold, gritty and particularly bloody environments, bringing me back to the original Battlefield and Call of Duty games except with almost real life graphics.

Battlefield 1 is set during the events of World War 1, as you can see it looks dire, in a good way…

I think many would agree, this will be a fresh breath of air, moving away from the silly lasers and jet packs you find in the latest COD games. Or maybe I’m just getting old as the cyber ninja warrior outfits and techno-light guns just don’t do me any favours. The highlight feature of the game remains to be the 64 players online war that you can jump into with your mates. If you haven’t experienced this scale of online warfare, then it’s a perfect time to get stuck in!
