Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Written by on

You didn’t forget did you? Father’s Day falls on the 18th of this month, so it’s time start thinking about what to get the old man to show your appreciation. Check out some of our favourite Father’s Day gift ideas that we’re sure he’ll love.

1. Mug

An all-time classic! You can’t go wrong with a good old “i love you dad” mug. Presuming your dad isn’t the clumsy breed, it should last for a while and will be a constant reminder of your love whenever he makes a cup of coffee (unless you choose gift idea number 3!).

2. Grooming kit

Here’s a fact: ageing men grow hair in places that can sometimes look or feel a bit.. you know… unglamorous. If your dad/husband hasn’t got an all-in-one grooming kit in his bathroom arsenal, then this present is sure to bring him out of the stone age.

3. Drone

OK, I’ll be honest, this isn’t a cheap one. But over the past few years this has been the number one dad craze. You know those fidget spinners you see kids playing around with these days? Well Drones are basically the dad version. He may not even know much about them, but once he gets in control of one there’ll be no stopping him!

4. Coffee machine

Does he drink coffee? Over the last decade, home coffee machines have become more and more popular because the quality and taste of the coffee will make you feel like a seasoned barista! There’s a wide selection of brands, functions and price ranges to choose from. I’d recommend one of the capsule machines like those by Nespresso. They have loads of tasty flavours to choose from so it’s a great way to experiment with different flavours, poured perfectly every time.

5. Swiss Army knife

On a scale of shaved legs to Swiss army knife, how bad-ass is your dad? If he’s more Arnie than ooh-la-la, you can’t go wrong getting him one of these bad-boys. Every time he whips it out will be a symbol of his manhood and reminder to him of how bad-ass his kids think he is.
